Our "Let's Go Back to the Attic" project is officially underway! We are working with various wonderful folks in the Alberta region who are making this historical project a success and we are loving the creativity and range of endless possibilities! Clients have stepped-up, from close-knit families with children, to couples with a love of vintage, to historical society's getting involved, we have had an influx of truly wonderful and creative collaborations on board for our Photography Series!
As one who grew up on a small farm and now living in the city (albeit one could call it an urban farm) I am still drawn to the 'simple life' - it still speaks to me. There is something about living this way, without modern distractions, "things" to take me away from what I genuine long to do - which of course, is to create!
“Arranging a bowl of flowers in the morning sun can give a sense of quiet in a crowded day - like writing a poem, or saying a prayer.”
― Anne Morrow Lindbergh
The idea behind this series is first to gather and capture the relationship between people/family members and second, to hold true to as detailed a background and props of any historical era as closely as possible.
